Via the Google blog and Titus Brown, a cool new ini­tia­tive com­ing out of google: Python and the Google Highly Open Par­tic­i­pa­tion Con­test. Titus is a sneaky sneaky man. This looks like an excel­lent oppor­tu­nity for pre-college kids to get involved. I really wish some­thing like this had been on the radar when I was in school. Invari­ably, my daugh­ter is too young to join up just yet.
